My Opinion About AndrewBlake:
Andrew Blake is a well-known pornographer. While I've heard his name before, I've never had the pleasure of experiencing his work and the moment I lay my eyes on the tour page it feels like volts of exciting electricity shimmering through my body. This looks like one highly steamy and erotic place that's perfect for anyone who loves more creativity and artistry in their porn.
The members' area is sleek looking with a top and bottom page menu featuring different categories and links and with all the newest updates listed down the page. There are exclusive wallpapers, IM icons and there's a selection of six bonus photo galleries. There are also VOD links and there are site news items. There's a calendar of current, past and future updates and if you're infatuated with a specific model (all are stunning, so it's not hard to become infatuated) then you can search the model gallery to find all the content where they are featured. Blake has shot tons of pornstars and there are fetish and glamour models listed in the directory as well.
Right now you get access to 32 photos sets and 156 sets of production stills. I totally appreciated that the two different styles where in their own galleries. No matter which gallery you're looking at, you get some razor sharp photos. The smaller of the two galleries features 1600x1064 images, and while there are smaller size options available, 1280x852 appears to be the best resolution in the production still gallery. You can download individual pictures or complete sets and the pictures are easily viewed online, too. Locations, settings, costumes belie high production values. The scenes are posed, but there are some absolutely mouth-watering shots of the models' luscious bodies, of fetish action and a lot of erotic lesbian trysts. While there is a high degree of chick on chick scenes, there are a few male on female hardcore moments captured in the production stills gallery.
Movies are well lit and production values are as classy as in the photos. There are four film categories that include 22 feature premiers, 43 members' premiers, 137 films and four diary videos that are more or less candid backstage clips. There are 60 second Flash previews that play automatically and every movie category offers QuickTime, WMV (2300kbps 1920x1080), DivX (1200kbps 480x320) and iPod downloads. I wasn't sure if some of the films were merely two-minute trailers or two-minute experimental pieces, but considering there were credits overlaid on the images, I'm going with the thought that they're trailers. I was almost ready to be disappointed until I realized that the clip was labelled 'end titles'. The next movie, 'Dollhouse Mental Illness' was like watching a high-fashion sex shoot. The music was slow, sexy and appropriate and the scenes were softcore and erotically charged, but the films I came across were no more than a teasing five minutes long. It looks like you can purchase full-length movies or VODs, which, to say the least, was a big disappointment.
Final Verdict:
You get some excellent high-quality photos from Andrew Blake and while the movies here are hot and professional, they're merely teases to inspire you to purchase the full-length DVDs. Still, photography fans will want to take the opportunity to save some of these incredibly steamy images into their own collection while enjoying the video teasers.
